Accelerator DOTG has a critical vulcanization temperature of 141°C. It is very active at vulcanization temperatures, especially above the critical temperature, and exhibits excellent vulcanization flatness.
1,3-di-O-tolylguanidine is an important activator for acidic accelerators, especially thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators. When used in combination with accelerator M, it exhibits a superior accelerator effect.
1,3-di-O-tolylguanidine is primarily used in thick-walled products, tire treads, breakers, and rubber roller covers.
When used as a primary accelerator, the dosage is generally 0.8-1.5 parts, and when used as a secondary accelerator for thiazole accelerators, the dosage is 0.1-0.5 parts.
