Accelerator DM(2,2'-Dibenzothiazolyl Disulfide)Applications
Accelerator DM is an accelerator for natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It produces a smooth, medium-speed vulcanization at a high vulcanization temperature, exhibits significant aftereffects, and prevents premature vulcanization. It is safe to operate, easy to disperse, and non-polluting, and its vulcanized rubber is resistant to aging.
Accelerator DM cures slowly when used alone. It is commonly used in combination with thiuram, dithiocarbamate, aldehyde-amine, and guanidine accelerators. It is an excellent anti-scorch agent for G-type chloroprene rubber.
Accelerator DM is primarily used in the manufacture of general industrial products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, and tape.
Accelerator DM can also act as a plasticizer or retarder in chloroprene rubber.
