2,3-Dimethyl-2,3-diphenylbutane, CAS 1889-67-4, is an aromatic hydrocarbon with the molecular formula C18H22 and a molecular weight of 238.37. It is also known as Dicumene, Dicumyl, 2,3-Diphenyl-2,3-dimethylbutane and 1,2-Diphenyltetramethylethane.

The compound is a solid at room temperature and is commonly supplied as a white to light yellow powder, flakes or crystalline material depending on product grade. TCI reports a melting point of approximately 116–120°C for its high-purity material.

2,3-Dimethyl-2,3-diphenylbutane is used in polymer-related applications involving free-radical chemistry. Its relatively stable carbon-centered radical behavior makes it useful in selected polymer processing and modification systems.
