This product is a colorless, transparent liquid with a characteristic odor. Melting point -70℃, boiling point 183℃, flash point 77℃. It is insoluble in water but miscible with alcohols, ethers, and chloroform.

2-Ethylhexanol Applications
2-Ethylhexanol is an important chemical raw material, mainly used in the production of plasticizers. Major products include dioctyl phthalate (DOP), dioctyl oxalate (DOA), trioctyl trimellitate (TOTM), and ester plasticizers and cold-resistant auxiliary plasticizers of dicarboxylic acids such as phthalic acid, azelaic acid, and sebacic acid.
2-Ethylhexanol can also be used as a solvent, defoamer, dispersant, and lubricant in industries such as paper sizing, latex, paint, printing and dyeing, and film production.
2-Ethylhexanol Storage:
