Product Chemical Properties
Product Name: Compound antioxidant T502 (Mixed tert-butyl phenols)
Appearance: Pale yellow or orange oily liquid at room temperature.
Solubility: Readily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, esters, ketones, alkanes, and aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., ethanol, butyl acetate, acetone, gasoline, toluene). Insoluble in water.
The color gradually darkens upon exposure to heat, light, or air.

Applications of Antioxidant 77PD
T502 type 1 is a high-performance, inexpensive, and easy-to-use oil antioxidant, mainly used in fuel oil, machine oil, and lubricating oil to replace the more expensive antioxidant BHT.
This product must not be added to edible oils as an antioxidant.
T502 type 2 is widely used as an antioxidant additive in fuel oils and lubricating oils. It can also be used as an antidegradant for rubber and plastic. This product can be used alone or in combination. It is a replacement product for T501 (BHT) antioxidant, with superior antioxidant performance at the same dosage and is more cost-effective. Suitable for all products using T501, especially in fuel oils where it performs exceptionally well and is easy to use.
