Copper Iodide is a multi-purpose molecule. Primarily, it is used in polarising film for electronic screens as well as in nylon tyre cord (technical textiles) applications. Its properties also make it useful to applications like cloud seeding and conductor coils in refrigerators.

Copper Iodide Application:

1. It can be used as organic synthesis catalyst, resin modifier, artificial rainfall agent, anode ray tube cover, and iodine source in iodized salt.

2. As catalyst in many reactions involving Grignard reagent, cuprous iodide is also used in dry wiff rearrangement reaction.

3. Used as animal feed additive, etc.
