Cyclopropylamine Applications
Cyclopropylamine is mainly used as an intermediate in organic and pharmaceutical synthesis. It can be used to synthesize novel antibacterial drugs such as ciprofloxacin, enflufloxacin, and sparfloxacin.
Cyclopropylamine is also an important intermediate in the synthesis of pesticides, plant protectants, and herbicides, such as 2-chloro-4-6-cyclopropyltriazine, cyprochlorazine, cyproterazine, and cyproteronitrile, among other cyclopropyl pesticides.
