Description
Dodecylphenol is a thick, pale yellow liquid that smells like phenol (like some disinfectants).It's mostly made of one main type of molecule (para-dodecylphenol).

Application
1. Detergents and inhibitors for lubricating oil additives: mainly used to produce sulfurized calcium alkylphenols and zinc dialkyl dithiophosphates.
2. Dodecylphenol ethoxylates: Some dodecylphenols are used to produce ethoxylates
3. Other derivatives: used to synthesize 2,4 di-tert-butyldodecylphenol
4. Modified phenolic resin: Modified resin with high-grade alkylphenol, such as dodecylphenol, can make the resin have good solubility and high viscosity.
The high strength and relatively large molecular weight can basically meet the needs of high-speed printing and large amounts of aromatic-free mineral oil.
5. Novolac resin: Laurylphenol can be used as a binder component in varnishes.
6. Epoxy resin: Dodecylphenol can be used as the curing agent component of epoxy resin and is widely used in epoxy floor paint, caulking agents and other fields.
7. Electrophoretic paint/electrophoretic paint
