The product is a light yellow powder with a relative density of 1.2 and a melting point of not less than 90°C. It is easily soluble in benzene, dichloromethane, carbon tetrachloride, gasoline, ethyl acetate, and ethanol, but insoluble in water.

Accelerator DZ [ N,N-dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide ] Applications
This product is a late-acting accelerator with excellent dispersion in rubber, a long scorch time in the rubber compound, and high operational safety. It is suitable for thick products and rubber compounds with high levels of active reinforcement.
Due to the bitter taste of the vulcanized rubber, it is not suitable for food contact products.
It is primarily used in the manufacture of tires, tapes, shock-absorbing products, and backing compounds for retreaded tires. It is particularly suitable for bonding brass-plated steel wire. The typical dosage is 0.5-2.0 phr. It can also be used in combination with other accelerators.
