Accelerator NS [ N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide ] Applications
This product is a highly active, late-acting accelerator with excellent scorch resistance, safe processing, and a short cure time. Its accelerating effect is strong at cure temperatures above 138°C. It is often used as a secondary accelerator in combination with Willing TMTD, Willing DPG, or other alkaline accelerators. Alkaline accelerators such as thiurams and dithiocarbamates can enhance its activity. It is primarily used in the manufacture of industrial rubber products such as tires, hoses, rubber shoes, and cables.
