Perchloroethylene (Tetrachloroethylene)
Perchloroethylene is a colorless, transparent liquid at room temperature and pressure, with a chloroform-like odor; its melting point is -22.2℃, boiling point is 121.2℃, and relative density is 1.615–1.625 g/cm³. Perchloroethylene is insoluble in water but miscible with ethanol, diethyl ether, and most other organic solvents.
