Sodium Iodide
Sodium Iodide has its chemical formula be NaI and the molecular weight of 149.89. It is colorless cubic crystal or white granular substance with salty taste and slightly bitter. Melting point: 651 ℃, boiling point: 1304 ℃, relative density: 3.67 g/mL. It is easily soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, , acetone, ammonia and pyridine. It is also soluble in glycerol.
