Used as a raw material for synthetic resins, and also in the synthesis of aviation lubricants, plasticizers, etc.
Used as a glycerin substitute, and also in the synthesis of drying oils.
Widely used in the production of dry polyester and polyurethane foams, and also in the manufacture of alkyd coatings, synthetic lubricants, plasticizers, surfactants, rosin esters, and explosives. Also used directly as a textile auxiliary and a heat stabilizer for PVC resins. In alkyd resins, it can improve the resin's strength, color, weather resistance, chemical resistance, and sealing properties.
It improves the resin's strength, corrosion resistance, and sealing properties; it also exhibits good stability against hydrolysis, pyrolysis, and oxidation.
Used as an organic surface treatment agent in industries such as titanium dioxide.
