Benzenesulfonyl Hydrazide (BSH), CAS 80-17-1, also known as Benzenesulfonohydrazide and Benzenesulfonic Acid Hydrazide, is an organic sulfonyl hydrazide compound.
BSH is commonly used as a chemical blowing agent in rubber, plastic and polymer processing. Under suitable processing conditions, it decomposes and releases gases that help form a cellular structure in polymer materials. It can also be used as a reagent and intermediate in organic synthesis.

Applications of Benzenesulfonyl Hydrazide (BSH)
Used as a foaming agent for foam materials in the footwear industry, the dosage is 3-6.5%. and it is also used for polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polyamide, polystyrene, phenolic tree resin, epoxy resin, butyl rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, silicone rubber, polyolefin, styrene and acrylonitrile or butadiene copolymer foaming agent, the dosage is 1-15%.
