DTDM, CAS 103-34-4
DTDM (CAS 103-34-4), also known as 4,4'-Dithiodimorpholine, N,N'-Dithiodimorpholine, Morpholine Disulfide and Sulfasan R, is an important rubber vulcanizing agent and sulfur donor. It is widely used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber vulcanization systems to improve heat resistance, reversion resistance and aging resistance.
DTDM is particularly suitable for efficient vulcanization (EV) and semi-efficient vulcanization (semi-EV) systems. It can be used alone or together with thiazole, thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators to optimize vulcanization performance.
