p-Toluenesulfonyl Hydrazide (TSH), CAS 1576-35-8, also known as Tosylhydrazide and 4-Methylbenzenesulfonohydrazide, is an organic sulfonyl hydrazide compound.
TSH is widely used as a chemical blowing agent in rubber and plastic processing. Under suitable processing conditions, it decomposes and releases gases that help form a cellular structure in polymer materials. It can also be used as a reagent and intermediate in organic synthesis.

Applications of p-Toluenesulfonyl Hydrazide (TSH)
As a foaming agent, TSH is used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber, various plastics, and also used in organic synthesis.The gas and decomposition residue are non-toxic, odorless, non-polluting, the cell structure is fine and uniform, the shrinkage rate of the product is small, and the tear strength is large, especially suitable for the manufacture of closed-cell foam and sponge glue. For polyvinyl chloride, white foam can be prepared (mold needs to be chrome-plated).
