UV Absorber 327 is a benzotriazole-type ultraviolet absorber chemically known as 2,4-Di-tert-butyl-6-(5-chloro-2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)phenol. It is also known as 2-(2'-Hydroxy-3',5'-di-tert-butylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole, UV-327 and Tinuvin 327. The CAS number is 3864-99-1 and the EC number is 223-383-8.
UV Absorber 327 belongs to the benzotriazole family of polymer UV absorbers. It absorbs ultraviolet radiation and helps reduce UV-induced degradation, discoloration and deterioration of physical properties in susceptible polymer materials.

Applications of UV Absorber 327
1. This product is a high-efficiency UV absorber capable of effectively absorbing ultraviolet light in the 270–400 nm wavelength range.
2. It features excellent thermal stability, low volatility, and good compatibility with polyolefins.
3. As it exhibits negligible absorption of visible light, it is particularly suitable for colorless, transparent, and light-colored products.
4. It is primarily used in polyolefins, PVC, PMMA, polyoxymethylene (POM), polyurethane, and ABS resins, and is especially suitable for polypropylene fibers.
