Application
1. Used as a raw material for surfactants, as well as a fiber industry refining agent, antistatic agent, dyeing auxiliary, and fiber wetting agent.
2. Used as a surfactant, rubber vulcanization accelerator, and solvent.
3. Reacts with fatty acids to produce fatty acid isopropanolamide (alkyl isopropanolamide) and esters, which are used as industrial synthetic detergents.
4. The product obtained from thioglycolic acid can be used as a base for cosmetics.
5. Used as an antioxidant for various lubricating oils and cutting oils.
6. The reaction products with various acids and higher fatty ketones can be used as plasticizers, emulsifiers, and solvents.
7. The salts generated with long-chain fatty acids can be used as emulsifiers for vinyl acetate resins, and the emulsion has good stability and stable color.
