Description
2-Butoxyethyl Acetate is a colorless liquid with a fruity odor. It is also known as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate; 2-Butoxyethanol acetate; 1-Acetoxy-2-Butoxyethane; Acetic Acid 2-Butoxyethyl Ester; Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether Acetate; short for BGA. It is a kind of binary alcohol ether ester solvent with high boiling point and containing multi-functional groups. It can be used as a coalescing aid for latex paint. It has excellent solubility for a variety of paints, which makes it widely used in colorful coatings and lotion coatings.
