Application
1. It is used in the printed circuit boards, in the olefin polymerization as an initiator, used for photography, as an additive for preserving the food, as an oxidising agent, to wash the infected yeast, for removing the pyrogallol stains, as a depolarizer in batteries and as a common ingredient in the hair bleaches.
2. Ammonium persulfate is used as a bleach because it is a strong oxidizing agent. It is used as a disinfectant because it is a powerful bactericide and fungicide.
Storge & Handling
Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from incompatible materials (see Section 10) and food and drink. Store locked up. Separate from reducing agents and combustible materials. Keep container tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
